THEIR LOVE <
I’m the most unqualified person to give advice on love. So therefore I will not be providing advice in this post or talking about the traditional teaching from the book of love; by definition that is. Since Valentine’s Day is here…. again, I thought I would share my thoughts on the “Love” I know.
Let me start of by saying, we all express and experience love differently. Whereas our ‘hearts’ may feel love, what our ‘brains’ define as love could be completely different. Yet, we all have some mutual understanding of what love is.
We as people choose to complicate simple things. Love is not complicated. Fear is not love.
“Most misunderstandings in the world could be avoided if people would simply take the time to ask, “What else could this mean?”
I don’t understand why our society functions on the premise that being single automatically equates to being lonely. Being alone on Valentine’s Day does not mean you are unloved. If you are spending the day alone, don’t throw yourself a pity party. Enjoy it if you want to enjoy it. Go out.
We’re taught that love is intrinsic to a high quality of life. Yet after years of education failing to teach the importance of self-love, we are expected to portray movie love in our day-to-day relationships and that is exhausting. The simple act of loving ourselves habitually, is what helps us love others. That is when we will be able to accept the whole person with love; unconditionally. In my opinion, loving yourself should be a top priority in a world of people with hidden agendas, intentions, selfishness and falseness concealed by “fake love” from those trying to take advantage of us.
What we should be taught is that, self-love is intrinsic to a high quality of life! As opposed to being taught that there is someone in this world that was made specifically for you. That said person, is going to sweep you off your feet and you’ll live happily ever after.
All I’m saying is, I’m a firm believer in treating myself the way I’d treat a significant other. Being single shouldn’t prevent you from enjoying Valentine’s Day, so instead let’s focus all that romantic energy circulating in the universe on ourselves.
Happy Valentine’s Day Lovers…

Below are some quotes/gems that I stumbled across… I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
♥ The moment you live your dreams, not because of what it will prove or get you, but because that is all you want to do. People’s opinions don’t matter.
♥ The moment you realize that no one is your enemy, except yourself.
♥ The moment you realize that you can have everything you want in life. However, it takes timing, the right heart, the right actions, the right passion and a willingness to risk it all. If it is not yours, it is because you really didn’t want it, need it or the universe prevented it.
♥ The moment you realize the ghost of your ancestors stood between you and the person you loved. They really don’t want you mucking up the family line with someone who acts anything less than honorable.
♥ The moment you realize that happiness was never about getting a person. They are only a helpmate towards achieving your life mission.
♥ The moment you believe that love is not about losing or winning. It is just a few moments in time, followed by an eternity of situations to grow from.
Love before anything
Real before everything
Home before anyplace
Truth before anything
Style and state radiate
Love power slay the hate
